ETHRA - ETHRA Public Transit is a rural and public demand response transportation program designed to help citizens in a sixteen county area meet their mobility needs. These counties are Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Claiborne, Cocke, Grainger, Hamblen, Jefferson, Knox, Loudon, Monroe, Morgan, Roane, Scott, Sevier and Union. ETHRA Public Transit provides door to door, non-emergency transportation service including accessibility to persons with disabilities. Anyone can ride.
Knox County CAC Transit - Provides transportation to people of all ages within Knox County who have no other means to get to medical appointments, shopping, employment, and other essential services. Sliding scale fee. Also furnishes transportation on contract for the Office on Aging, Senior Nutrition Program, O’Connor Senior Center, and other nonprofit agencies.
Knoxville Commuter Pool Program - The Knoxville Commuter Pool (KCP) is a regional commuter transportation service designed to encourage area commuters to carpool, vanpool, or ride public transportation to and from work. KCP's mission is to make commuters aware of mobility options. KCP services enable employers, employees, and the community to work together to achieve transportation related economic, environmental, and community goals.
Smart Trips - Promotes alternatives to driving alone. Offers ride matching service for carpooling, a guaranteed ride home program, and information on other forms of transportation in Knoxville.
Tennessee Vans - a state-wide commuter vanpool service that provides vehicles, insurance, maintenance, and fleet management assistance to public agencies and private non-profit groups that need a cost effective means of travel. Tennessee Vans are used to transport individuals to and from work sites, to and from job-training sites, or to other events and activities that facilitate the mobility of persons served by the sponsoring organizations. The Knoxville Commuter Pool uses the Tennessee Vans service to meet the van transportation needs of organizations located in the Knoxville region.
