East Tennessee History Center - The East Tennessee Historical Center is one of two facilities of the Knox County Public Library System located in downtown Knoxville. The Center houses the public library's Calvin M. McClung Historical Collection and the Knox County Archives, the repository for the permanent governmental records of Knox County.
Knox County Public Library System - The Knox County Public Library System consists of the East Tennessee Historical Center, Lawson McGhee Library and 17 branches.
The University of Tennessee Libraries - The University of Tennessee has numerous libraries, including an Agriculture-Veterinary Medicine Library, a Map Library, Music Library, Social Studies Library, Special Collections, Law Library, and a Medical Library.
Frank H. McClung Museum - The McClung Museum is a general museum with collections in anthropology, archaeology, decorative arts, medicine, local history, and natural history. The exhibits document ways of life, cultural trends, and technologies from prehistoric times to the present day, and showcase much of Tennessee's past -- its geology, history, art, and culture. The McClung Museum is a special place -- a place of discovery, a place to learn about the world around us. As a part of the University of Tennessee, the Museum supports and participates in the University's mission to serve the state, region, and nation through scholarship, teaching, artistic creation, professional practice, and public service.
George F. DeVine Music Library - George F. DeVine Music Library - the web site provides guides to music research techniques and tools, information about the University of Tennessee, Knoxville music department, and index to pop/rock/folk/classical songbooks.
Knox County Archives - The Knox County Archives receives, processes, and preserves the permanent records created by the Knox County, Tennessee government. It contains records from 1792 to the present. The Knox County Archives provides information on the origins and history of the court systems, court records, genealogy, and history of Knox County, Tennessee.
Knox County Records Management - Records Management offers County departments and agencies storage, retrieval, and, if applicable, disposal of inactive documents. Secure and climate-controlled storage for electronic record media and microfilm is provided. Access to government records, when permitted by statute or regulation, is afforded to members of the public.
Oak Ridge Public Library - The Oak Ridge Public Library serves a community of 27,310.
Pellissippi State Technical Community College Library - Offers an online catalog and services. It provides access to the Library's collection of approximately 50,000 books and 460 periodicals housed at the Pellissippi campus Library, the Division St. ERC/Library, the Blount County Center ERC and the Magnolia Campus ERC. Included is the 2000+ video recording collection, searchable by title, subject and keyword. New books and video recordings are continuously added to the online catalog.
Tennessee State Library and Archives - Includes Tennessee History and genealogy, archives and manuscripts, legislative services, library for the blind and physically handicapped, virtual reference desk, public and regional libraries, boards and councils, and Tennessee Electronic Library.
