NavCal River Rides
NavCal River Rides at Volunteer Landing is beginning its informative and entertaining, family friendly, Civil War History cruises in April. Join Sam and Miss Drusilla to see sites and learn the Civil War history of Knoxville, especially about the battle of Fort Sanders. You will also see the Armstrong Locket plantation home, Bleak house, Longstreet's Heights, Armstrong Hill, Fort Dickerson and many others. You will have an annotated map to help visualize the 1863 siege of Knoxville with Confederate and Union positions highlited. Information and discounted online tickets are available here. These cruises are offered April through October, Friday through Sunday at 3:00 and 5:15. NavCal also offer Pirates (the real truth about pirates) Birthday Parties with a booklet by Capt.
