Clarence Brown Theatre
The Clarence Brown Theatre Company presents a varied repertoire of plays featuring nationally and internationally known guest artists, making the Clarence Brown Theatre one of the finest theatres in the Southeastern region of the United States. The University of Tennessee is one of a select number of universities nationwide that are affiliated with a professional LORT theatre, allowing MFA candidates and undergraduates in theatre regular opportunities to work alongside professional actors while earning membership in Actors' Equity Association.

Founded in 1991, the Knoxville Concert Band presents a year-round series of performances in venues from concert halls to parks. In past years, concert locations have spanned the green hills of East Tennessee from Newport to Morristown, Oak Ridge to Jefferson City, and Greeneville to Knoxville. The Band's purpose is to bring quality band and wind ensemble music to the citizens of the region and it is dedicated to excellence in symphonic band performance.
