West Knoxville has over 38 miles of paved greenways which often follow natural land or water features. They link nature preserves, parks' cultural features, and historic sites with each other and with population areas. Greenways link neighborhoods to these facilities and to other neighborhoods.

Anchor Park
11730 Turkey Creek Rd., Farragut, TN

This15-acre family-friendly park is located adjacent to the lakefront and has a .8 mile greenway.


Ball Camp Loop
8728 Ball Camp Pike, Knoxville TN

The loop begins in Nicholas Ball Park. The trail surrounds the soccer field and is just under .5 mile. Parking is available.


Bearden Village Greenway
3100 Sutherland Ave., Knoxville TN

This greenway is 2.1 miles of asphalt and is used for walking, running, bicycling, walking leashed dogs, skating, pushing strollers, using wheelchairs, roller blading. Parking is available at Westwood Park, West High School, and Bearden Elementary.

This Greenway has many historic markers that tell stories about Bearden Village's history. It is also part of the City's CrossKnox 15k Race, which runs from Haley Heritage Square in East Knoxville all the way to Bearden Elementary School in West Knoxville.


Campbell Station Park
405 N. Campbell Station Rd., Farragut, TN

This 17-acre park features a lighted paved walktrail (2/5 mile) with an additional unlighted paved trail on the west side of Turkey Creek (2/3 mile loop).

In the park you will find eight pieces of sculpture, an open play area, benches, and restrooms.


Carl Cowan Loop

Cavet Station Greenway

This 1.0 mile asphalt greenway is used for walking, running, bicycling, walking leashed dogs, skating, pushing strollers, using wheelchairs, and roller blading. It connects to Wal-Mart and Sam's Club at Walker Springs, Jean Teague Greenway, West Hills Park, Ten Mile Creek Greenway.


Concord Park (Bike trails)

The park contains 8 miles of natural surface mountain bike trails. Parking is available behind the golf course.

Concord Cove Loop

This is a .75 mile trail that circles the park. Parking is available.


Grigsby Chapel Greenway
Grigsby Chapel Road, Farragut, TN

Located on Grigsby Chapel Road, the trail connects many of the neighborhood subdivisions, condos, and apartments north of this road. An additional quarter of a mile segment is located behind the Farragut Primary School connecting the former end of the trail at St. Mary's Health System at the corner of Grigsby Chapel Road to the sidewalk at Grammar Lane. There is 2.25 miles of asphalt trail. Parking is available at the Farragut's commuter lot on Campbell Station Road or at Farragut Primary School during non-school hours.


Jean Teague Greenway

The greenway's main loop is 0.8 mile, and the entire loop is 2.3 miles both on asphalt. It is used for walking, running, bicycling, walking leashed dogs, skating, pushing strollers, using wheelchairs, and roller blading. There are restrooms, outdoor basketball courts, softball fields, tennis courts, playgrounds, and a shelter.

The greenway connects to West Hills Park, West Hills Elementary School , Westside YMCA, Cavet Station Greenway & Ten Mile Creek Greenway. There are two parking areas in the park including accessible.


Lakeshore Greenway

This is a 2.24 mile asphalt greenway which is used for walking, running, walking leashed dogs, bicycling, skating, pushing strollers, using wheelchairs, and roller blading. The entire greenway is lighted. This is a difficult greenway with extreme slopes. There are restrooms, drinking fountains, dog waste stations, soccer fields, softball fields, and playgrounds. There are six parking lots.

The greenway is located within the 60-acre Lakeshore Park and makes a large loop, part of which follows alongside the Tennessee River. The greenway affords spectacular views of Fort Loudoun Lake and the sports facility within the park. There are areas on Lakeshore Greenway that are not accessible.

This asphalt greenway is .04 mile. It is used for walking, running, bicycling, walking leashed dogs, skating, pushing strollers, using wheelchairs, and roller blading.

The greenway connects Middlebrook Greenway to the Juvenile Justice Center. It also connects commuters to Knox County's John Tarleton Park, where the Young Williams Animal Center is located.


Mayor Bob Leonard Park

This park has lighted paved wetlands walktrails (up to 0.9 mile loop ADA accessible or one mile loop with an incline).


McFee Greenway

Located along McFee Road, a 1.5 mile asphalt trail connects Bridgemore, McFee Manor and the Cottages at Pryse Farm subdivisions with McFee Park. Parking is available at McFee Park.


McFee Park

This is Farragut's newest park. There are lighted walking trails. It also offers a splash pad within its 26-acre multi-use facility featuring green elements including solar panels, permeable pavers, LED lighting, bioswales / rain gardens, and natural light in the restrooms.


Melton Hill Park

Papermill Bluff Greenway

This greenway has several hills overlooking I-40 and Bearden Hill. On clear days, some peaks on the greenway offer beautiful views of the Great Smoky Mountains.

The 0.9 mile asphalt greenway is used for walking, running, bicycling, walking leashed dogs, skating, pushing strollers, using wheelchairs, and roller blading. It is a moderate greenway with some hills. Restrooms are open during the summer months. There is a baseball/softball field, basketball court, tennis court, playgrounds, and shelter. Parking is available at the Red Roof Inn on Kirby Rd. and at Church of the Savior on Weisgarber Rd.


Parkey Strader Loop at Concord Park

Parkside Greenway
Parkside Drive, Farragut, TN

The park has two miles of asphalt trail; approximately .5 mile is located in the Town of Farragut and 1.5 miles are located in the City of Knoxville.

Located along Parkside Drive, it runs parallel to Interstate 40 / 75 from Lovell Road to the sidewalk on the northwest portion of Parkside Drive Parking is available at the Town's commuter lot on Campbell Station Road. Users should cross Campbell Station Road at the pedestrian crosswalk / signal at the Parkside Drive / Campbell Station Road intersection.


Pellissippi Greenway

This greenway runs south from Pellissippi State Community College along Pellissippi Parkway for 1 mile to Carmichael Road. Parking is available at the entrance of the college


Sequoyah Greenway
400 Cherokee Blvd., Knoxville, TN

This easy, 2.6 miles greenway is used for walking, running, bicycling, walking leashed dogs, skating, pushing strollers, using wheelchairs, and roller blading. There are restrooms and gravel parking lots.

Sequoyah Greenway is located in the median of Cherokee Boulevard in Sequoyah Hills. This greenway connects across Kingston Pike from Third Creek Greenway to the terminus of Cherokee Blvd. There are several access points across Cherokee Blvd. into Sequoyah Park.


Ten Mile Creek Greenway

The greenway begins at Knox County's Walker Springs Park where a .3 mile trail leads to Ten Mile Creek.  From there, a .7 mile trail continues east to Gallaher View Road where it connects to the city’s Cavet Station Greenway.  Westbound, the .9 mile paved trail leads to Bridgewater Road and continues to the I-40 underpass where it connects again to a city greenway that ends at Peters Road. Parking is available at Walker Springs Park and at the trail head on Peters Road. 


Turkey Creek Greenway

You will find 1.6 miles of tree-lined asphalt trail with an additional .3-mile spur to Turkey Creek Woods between Sailview and Brixworth subdivisions. Parking is available at Anchor Park.

This is a 1.0 mile asphalt greenway used for walking, running, bicycling, walking leashed dogs, skating, pushing strollers, using wheelchairs, and roller blading.

Weisgarber Greenway connects under I-40/75 and runs from the Middlebrook Pike sidewalk system to Papermill Road. Papermill Bluff Greenway connects to Weisgarber Greenway near I-40 at the Church of the Savior.
