Foothills Craft Guild Fall Show
A fine crafts marketplace features the work of over 120 well-known craft artists from East and Middle Tennessee. Held in the historic Jacob Building with musical performances and craft demonstrations: wood-turning, clay sculpture, loom weaving, cornshuckery, printmaking, metal sculpture, and more. This event showcases the high-quality, handmade crafts of over 140 juried Guild members and several invited guest artists.

Gatlinburg Craftsmen's Fair
Homespun necessities of yesteryear are turned into cherished treasures by over 150 of the finest craftspeople from all over the U.S. These artisans are gifted in quilting, wood carving, pottery, broom and dulcimer making, candle dipping, stained glass, metal work, basket weaving, furniture making, calligraphy and much more. A musical background complements the climate of creativity at the Fair as melodies strummed on dulcimer, fiddle, banjo and other traditional instruments fill the air.

Mountain Makins'
This folk life festival celebrates the traditions of Appalachia, honoring the rich traditions of the past, and supports modern interpretations of those traditions. Over 50 juried crafters will showcase their work during the festival. You will have an opportunity to view and purchase fine art, folk art, pottery, baskets, photography, woodworking, bath products, jewelry, decorative painting, candles, and other hand-crafted items.
Visitors to this family-friendly event enjoy a variety of activities including two stages of mountain music, storytelling, prize-winning dancers, regional authors, children’s activities, and an abundance of good food.
The festival features a variety of mountain music including old time, bluegrass, Celtic, traditional gospel, dulcimer, and bagpipe. Prize-winning clogging teams, line dancers, and nationally recognized Tsoyaha Indian Dancers perform on Jackson Street.
A special feature is a live demonstration of traditional crafts such as blacksmithing, hide tanning, basket making, beekeeping, broom making, wood turning and and apple butter making. Sons of the Confederate Veterans form a Civil War display.

Raccoon Valley Bluegrass Music Festival
The festival brings the best in bluegrass music to Powell, TN. Nationally known artists have included Mountain Heart and The Kentucky Headhunters. Featured regional and local artists have included Blue Moon Rising, Shadow Ridge, Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver, Knoxville Bluegrass Band, New Road, New Harvest, Steep Canyon Rangers, David West and Marshall Andy, Misty River and many more.
