Lots of family fun has been planned for this year’s Festival on the Fourth hosted by the City of Knoxville — entertainment, activities and treats.
As always, the festival will be held at the World's Fair Park in downtown Knoxville.
The free festival begins at 4 p.m. and ends at approximately 10 p.m. at the conclusion of the fireworks display. This event is Rain or Shine.
During the day, there will be music performances, food vendors, fun activities, and an opportunity to enjoy one of Knoxville’s most beautiful parks.
Regal will have a Kids Zone set up for kids of all ages.
Prior to the Fireworks show which starts at 9:35 p.m., the highlight of Festival on the Fourth will be the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra. They will begin the KSO 30th Annual FREE Pilot Flying J Independence Day Concert at 8:00 p.m. on the World's Fair Park's Performance Lawn.
