The Christmas Express

Catch a ride this Christmas when the Three Rivers Rambler becomes the Christmas Express.

Children of all ages will experience the magic of our own children’s book The Christmas Lantern when the story is read aloud to them.

Passengers will be served Christmas cookies and refreshments. Santa Claus will board the train at the halfway point to visit passengers and give each child their own sleigh bell.

The 90 minute, 11-mile Christmas Express will depart from 2560 University Commons Way. The Rambler will travel through countryside featuring historic sites where the first settlers of the area lived, the site of the area's earliest church and the start of the navigable Tennessee River.
